🕌 Quick Overview

The Five Days of Hajj

Travel to Mina in the morning. Perform Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, and Fajr prayers in Mina (shorten 4-Rak'ah prayers to 2). Spend the night in Mina. This is a day of preparation and spiritual focus.
Leave Mina after sunrise for Arafat. Combine Dhuhr and Asr at Dhuhr time. Stand at Arafat from after Dhuhr until sunset, making continuous du'a. This is the essence of Hajj. Leave for Muzdalifah immediately after sunset.
Pray Fajr at Muzdalifah. Leave before sunrise for Mina. Stone Jamrat al-Aqabah with 7 pebbles. Sacrifice animal. Shave/trim hair. Go to Makkah for Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa'i. Return to Mina for the night. After these, most Ihram restrictions are lifted.
Stone all three Jamarat after Zawwal (when sun passes zenith): small, middle, then large. Throw 7 pebbles at each, saying "Allahu Akbar" with each throw. Make du'a after first two Jamarat. Spend nights in Mina. Can leave after stoning on 12th if desired.
If you stayed the night of 12th in Mina, you must stone all three Jamarat on 13th after Zawwal. Leave Mina, then perform Tawaf al-Wada (Farewell Tawaf) before leaving Makkah. This must be your last action in Makkah. Your Hajj is now complete!
